More than a physical practice
My wish is that you feel more embodied, experience stability of the mind to connect to your inner wisdom (Kavi), release limiting patterns, and manage your energy. But most importantly, to remember who are you – the Sacred, Eternal Spirit.
This class draws from various lineages of Hatha yoga. These classes emphasize alignment and weave postures with poetic reflections and teachings. Hatha classes cultivate strength, balance, flexibility, and attuned awareness. My class is Tantra focused, with a strong focus on the breath first – moving into yoga poses to alter the breath, energy, and thus the mind.

Move with intention and breath in this energetic yoga practice that will flow through a progressive series of postures. This class is a blend of Vinyasa and the traditional Ashtanga practice designed to tone, stretch, and strengthen. This class is offered for all levels as well as intermediate and advanced where previous yoga experience is recommended.

Deepen your mind-body connection, find balance, and release stress in this guided meditation & breath work practice set in a candlelit, darkened room. Through somatic breath work and restorative postures supported by props, you’ll focus your awareness, find calm, and release physical, mental, and emotional tension.
This gentle yoga class provides a safe, effective, compassionate, non-competitive environment that is welcoming to all. Gentle yoga classes are appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported, and relaxing practice.
This class uses breath as a motor to move the body and focus the mind. The class progressively builds heat and evolves into dynamic sequencing (full range of motion) with moments of strength and periods of intentional flexibility. This class is open to those with Yoga experience and caters to those who aim to improve their health by getting stronger, enhancing range of motion, and becoming more connected to their sense of inner peace.
Explore duality and balance as we blend two styles. Half the class will be Yang-like: dynamic, warming, and external. The other half of the class will be Yin-like: receptive or slower, cooling, and internal. The Yang portion increases blood flow and builds strength and stamina (these may include more standing postures – upward moving). In the Yin portion, we move into the connective tissue and joints (these poses will be more on the floor – downward moving). The class may start with Yin or Yang first. This class will also explore the Gene Keys (inspired by the Chinese I Ching). Each key looks at the duality in life and guides us to have a deeper understanding of ourselves and our true potential.

A deeply healing, grounding practice where postures are held for extended periods of time. Students learn to lean into gravity to elicit decompression of connective tissue and release physical and energetic blockages. Taught in the heat the practice facilitates deep stretching, taught in a cooler room and the practice facilitates structural change. Beneficial for every shape, size and level of activity from triathlete to newbie, first time to fierce Yogi.
A gentle and nurturing practice that uses props, such as bolsters and blankets, to support the body in deep relaxation. Postures are held longer (with props) to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and encourage the body and mind to experience peaceful surrender. This is a wonderful class for anyone who would like to slow down, calm the mind, connect to their breath and deepen their yoga practice. Restore the body and spirit, and leave feeling nourished and well-rested. A bolster can provide various supports to your spine (or you can bring a firm pillow or a rolled-up thick towel.
The class grows through breath work, standing and balancing static postures, and floor work to stretch the muscles and connective tissue. Each posture is held for long enough that a student can find themselves in it and build both strength and ease while there. This class serves anyone who loves a strong, peaceful practice.
I also currently work with clients, in the GTA, who have experienced trauma from car accidents, using yoga to help in physical rehabilitation, and breathwork and meditation to alleviate PTSD.
