As you rest in a restorative yoga pose, be soothed by a beautiful sound healing journey. Restorative yoga allows the body to let go of tension, leading you into deeper states of rest. With sound, the mind becomes still, and you move into the vibration. Different frequencies are used to aid in your healing journey.
The Delicacy of
RESTORATIVE YOGA invites us to bring more softness and ease to our bodies and mind.
Different yoga poses are supported by bolsters, blankets, blocks, and other support to create a ‘rest nest’. There is a deep intelligence in how we position the body in the restorative poses, breathing techniques used, and the time spent in a pose to up-regulate the parasympathetic nervous system. When we slow down, we become aware of where we store tension and can release tension.
SOUND HEALING (also known as sound bath or sound therapy) creates a vibration in your body and the room.
As sound waves travel through space and water, so too do they travel through the body. Certain frequencies can create specific effects and can alter brain wave frequencies (making you calmer or more alert). It also can help bring peace and calm; if your mind is always active, focusing on the sounds gives your mind something to tune into. We use singing bowls, gongs, chimes, rainsticks, mantra, and more.
Upcoming Event and
Join us for a 2-hour event of pure relaxation. These sessions are held at a local studio either as a stand-alone event or as part of the Restorative Yoga Teacher Training. We are introduced to Sound Healing in the Restorative Training.
New Year’s Eve of
Instead of setting a ‘regular’ new year’s resolution that doesn’t last, we spend a night in deep relaxation. We then do a Buddhist meditation to reveal our highest intention for the new year. This evening is held in community.
Corporate session or
Receive undivided attention and an experience tailored just for you. Offer a special event for your colleagues and staff, focusing on their mental health and well-being (vital for productivity). We also do private events and retreats.
Sound Healing is introduced in the Restorative Yoga Teacher Training. As we learn restorative yoga and how to support students, we learn other tools to help students move into deeper states of rest. Touch, sound, and silence are great elements to use. We are introduced to different frequencies and sound tools, mantra, binaural beats, and more.

This regular, weekly class is deeply nurturing and restores the body’s energy levels as you are held in a supportive space. We use props to support the body in restorative yoga. This is combined with Energy Healing, and I also use one Sound Healing instrument (chimes, singing bowl, rainstick, and other tools). I like to add in some relaxing massage.

Your Guides
Over the past 15 years, Shanine has helped thousands of people to nourish and restore their body, mind, and soul through her classes, having taught many teacher trainings, workshops, and through her recordings. Her first teaching position was working at a hospice, bringing the healing benefits of restorative yoga to those with life-limiting illnesses. She returned to Restorative when she was so depleted. Restorative and Yoga Nidra restored her back to health (as well as through herbal medicine) and provided so much more.
Shanine is dedicated to bringing Rituals and Rest to her students (a space that cultivates reverence and guides us to slow down and listen to the whispers of our heart). In Restorative and Yoga Nidra, we are on a pilgrimage of dissolving to be fully received.
Preeti has a unique way to life. She sees the world as energy, art, and expression. She is an Energy Alchemist and has the gift of Light Language and deeply connecting to spirit. She is a Vibrational Healer, Holistic Health and Beauty Practitioner with over 22 years of experience in Beauty, Holistic Nutrition, Reflexology, and Reiki. She also has a background in Pranayama Yoga, Vipassana Meditation, various styles of breathwork, and Sound Healing. Combining all these aspects together really shifts the way she experiences life.
Her mission is to bridge our spirit back to source energy and nature, reactivating our hearts, connecting us to the natural planetary rhythms and cycles, and helping us remember where we truly come from.
